About me....

I always had a 'passing interest' in photography but business interests took up most of my time till a serious illness made me slow down and start appreciating other areas of life.
My wife, Debbie, suggested we get away for a break and asked where I would like to go. I said I would have a think about it, having thought about it I said I fancied going to the Amazon jungle. It took a while for her to get used to the idea of the heat and the bugs but we booked the trip.
It was then that I though it would be a good idea to get a camera  and I joined Bangor Camera Club to get some help how to use it. One of the guys at the club suggested I get a Canon 600D and a Tamron 70-300 for the trip.
After that, I followed my interest in photography, into a number of different areas.
Not being very organised, I have images all over the place. Different computers, hard drives etc so I thought a website would concentrate my mind into getting a selection of my images into one place.
I hope that anybody that comes across my site enjoys the photography.
